I was stuck at an intermediate level for the longest time. These private lessons with Bob have propelled me into advanced play. The results speak for themselves!

For a few lessons, Bob helped me dissect each part of my game, from serving to positioning, allowing me to understand the ‘why’ behind each technique, not just the ‘how. I have become a much more competitive player and enjoy the game more than in the past.

As a complete beginner, I was somewhat nervous, but Bob’s coaching was incredibly patient and encouraging. I felt comfortable making mistakes and learning from them. I highly recommend Bob to anyone just starting out playing pickleball.

When I arrived at Bob’s Intermediate Clinic, it was evident that this clinic was professionally run. Each drill was explained clearly, and the feedback was constructive and immediate. I was able to take some of the things Bob taught into my game the next day.

My private lessons with Bob were tailored to address my weaknesses, which has made a dramatic difference in my game. A one-size-fits-all approach simply can’t compare. This is what makes Bob such a good teacher. He can identify your weaknesses and then teach you how to correct them.

My pickleball skills have improved, but more importantly, I’ve gained a mental edge. Learning how to strategize has been invaluable. This is what Bob does. He starts with the basics and then gradually introduces you to strategies to improve your game.

Bob’s clinics are not like others I have taken, which I call a ‘watch and learn’ kind of clinic; Bob’s clinic was hands-on and highly interactive. I was never bored, and I left with a list of things to practice and improve upon. Bob is very patient and takes his time explaining things as he demonstrates them and then has us do them.

The Advanced Beginners’ clinic was organized in such a way that each of us, regardless of skill level, could take away something valuable. I appreciated the thought that went into creating a well-rounded one-hour program for such a group of people who were at a variety of skill levels.

Not only did I learn valuable skills at Bob’s clinic, but I also met some fantastic people. The atmosphere was competitive and supportive, a perfect blend for learning how to play pickleball.

Attending Bob’s Intermediate clinic was a game-changer for me. The drills were innovative, and the coaching was top-notch. I felt like a better player with a deeper understanding of the game.

Very good lesson. I learned more in one hour than I did in a 10-week clinic.

So–in a word–Bob is amazing. Called pretty close to the last minute to get pickleball lessons for 6 of us (the fam) then added two more. He was awesome and accommodating. He adjusts his teaching style for the level of play and competitiveness. Some of us are more Ummm… aggressive… than others of us! He really helpful, concise, and encouraging, and makes the sport really fun. Plus he’s been a big help as we buy paddles and find places to play. Seriously, this guy is a 10 out of 10. Highly HIGHLY recommend!

Robert is a great instructor! Be prepared to pay attention and hustle.

This was a great hour (my second lesson) spent with super nice people- learning the rules, practicing strokes and playing the game of pickle-ball. Bob makes me laugh and encourages me to have fun-constantly challenging me along the way!

I played 7-8 doubles games last week. I could hear your voice in my head. I put a line on my garage wall and created a kitchen on the floor. I dink 50 forehands, backhands, and figure 8’s on a daily basis. Has been fun!

I took a beginners lesson with Bob Savar and was amazed at how much he covered in one lesson. He actually had the four of us playing a game the last 20 minutes of the lesson. So much fun, especially rallying back and forth. All four of us signed up for another clinic – that’s how good it was!

Bob, Thx for the group session today. It helped me tremendously. One can only watch so much YouTube and then must put the paddle in hand and go out and do it! You helped me understand the game much better and now I need time to apply what I’ve learned on the court. Today was my first time in 20 years to play any sport. Processing information while battling the sun and wind was challenging, but I am confident time will slow things down. Be well and stay safe.

I participated in a beginner pickleball clinic with Bob. He showed great patience and was able to teach us enough – strokes, scoring, rules, and positioning – so that we could play with others in the park during open play.
